"The villa is very unique in the way that it’s built into (& down) the cliffside. You enter from above at street level and walk down a lovely spiral staircase into the villa. The living room, kitchen and pool area are on the bottom 2 levels closest to the sea (making it feel very private), so when you’re in the pool, the infinite edge of the water appears to extend into the sea.. The views are SPECTACULAR from every room

"There are not enough adjectives to describe our stay at Casa Carole!! Our family spent a week being pampered by Pepe, Mari and Rosario. Excellent. I give it six stars out of five!! We will be back!"

The STAFF: Pepe, Maria & Rosario were there for us everyday (except for Sunday). We didn’t see Rosario as much but every day our bedrooms were made spotless with clean linens, soap, etc & she never missed a beat.Mari is the Casa chef and I feel justified in calling her a true ‘Chef'. She’s fantastic. These were consistently the best meals any one of us have ever had in Mexico, or anywhere else, for that matter. Pepe is the house man/concierge/head waiter and jack of all trades. He made us feel SO at home and was SO accommodating in every way. If something was broken or needed attending to, he would take care of it immediately. He served all the meals, played an excellent bartender (none of the margaritas in town came close), helped with activities & local information & was around most of the time to make sure everyone was taken care of & happy. By the time our stay was over, he felt like part of our family! Any special request we had was handled seamlessly.

The VILLA: Authentic, Lovely & Unique Architecture that we fell in love with, Old Mexico Charm. The pool aaea was bigger than I thought from the pictures and so was the pool, which has an attached jetted spa. I wouldn’t call it a ‘hot tub’, exactly, but the pool is heated and the spa will heat up to feel really lovely like a bathtub. When we got there it was perfect. Sizewise it was absolutely perfect for our party of 8 (& would be fine for more) and the whole outdoor area was very clean.

The BEDROOMS: Each room was simple, lovely, clean & unique and each one had it’s own private balcony overlooking the ocean (except for the bottom bedroom that opened up to the pool area (as well as the ocean), which was great as well for the early riser in the group!. The rooms provided everything we needed. The beds were comfortable & the sheets were soft! You can choose to sleep with all the windows thrown open and listen to the waves crashing if you want to (there is mosquito netting, although we never saw 1 single bug in the open bedrooms while we were there in March) or you can close up the windows and turn on the AC (which worked really well in each room)"

"It was the best beach house i ever visit for a vacation, the view, great size and the service/food was like being in a 5 star hotel just for ourserlves. The Private Beach was also a unique thing. Pepe, Mary and Rosario were more friendly than anyone the menu we pick for each day was very tasty. All of my group (10 adults total) enjoy and love the stay in Casa Carole, i even receive messages on instagram for information of the House. We”ll be back ASAP. Michelle the owner was also very helpful very friendly, detailed and quick via email. The manager in Puerto Vallarta, Lupe was also helpful days before our arrival for the welcome menu & drinks. People Don’t think twice enjoy Casa Carole"

Pepe even made smoothies for all the children during cocktail hour! Mari is a fantastic cook! Pepe can make anything you would like happen! We love the Casa but love the staff even more! "This was the perfect house and location for our family of twelve, 8 adults, 2 teenagers and a 6 and 4 year old. The pool and beach provided hours of fun and Pepe answered any question we had and arranged any excursion we requested. A great vacation is when the only stress of the week is deciding on menus for Mari, an excellent cook, to serve. Rosario kept the house spotless and we loved the Mexican deco. The whole experience was a 10+ for our family."
